Written by Nana Gyasi on 2nd September 2018
The Community Learning Festival, run by Manchester Metropolitan University, celebrates the diversity and community spirit of the Hulme and Moss Side areas.
With two days of free activities and workshops, the Festival promises to be fun and informative for all the family. Visitors can look forward to everything from yoga, quizzes and storytelling to pasta making, circus skills and t-shirt printing.
This year, Simply Cycling will be attending, bringing with them different kinds of bikes adapted so that they are suitable for all abilities. Other activities include traditional Ghanaian drumming, henna arts, dance, Pirate Pete’s Video Arcade, film screenings, Mr D’s Healthy Body Healthy Mind Challenge and more.
A free lunch will be available on both days.
